With a lifelong passion for cooking and over 50 years of experience in the professional world, I turned my love for food into a thriving business with Decadent Desserts and More. Growing up on a family farm with six siblings, I learned early on that food is more than just nourishment—it’s an experience that brings people together.
My journey into the culinary world began organically. After preparing 600 handmade desserts for my daughter and son-in-law’s Jack and Jill wedding shower, I was hired on the spot by the event venue. What started as a simple act of love soon became a full-fledged business, offering in-home chef services and personalized catering for events of all sizes.
I specialize in gluten-free and nut-free baked goods that rival traditional recipes in flavor and quality. Unlike conventional catering, I am on-site for every event, ensuring that everything is prepared fresh, served with care, and cleaned up entirely—allowing my clients to enjoy a stress-free experience. After retiring from a 50-year career in accounting in December 2024, I dedicated myself fully to my passion, bringing exceptional food and seamless hospitality to homes and events across East Hartland, Connecticut.
